We want your contributions. All articles must explore a historical military engagement and include orders of battle, terrain details, strategy and tactics of the forces involved and some historical background to the engagement. We will accept 'what-ifs' from the sublime to the ridiculous and are also willing to consider SF & fantasy suggestions of sufficient interest to the general wargamer. We will accept articles covering broader topics such as complete campaigns and periods, general military strategy and tactics, fortifications, uniformology, command and control, the sky's the limit really (within reason), if in doubt - get in touch. Send all contributions as Word .doc format to: If you are unable to provide Word format we will accept other file types. Please also supply a hardcopy of your article if you send plain text files as plain text format does not retain bold and italicised text. We will not accept text as hardcopy only. Please include your name and contact details in the document. We prefer visual accompaniment to the text but that isn't mandatory. If possible at least try and provide a map of the engagement. We have the respected artist and cartographer Derek Stone on hand to transform the roughest sketch into a detailed quality map so don't worry if your version isn't that good, just ensure all terrain details and relevant units, movements etc are clearly labelled. All images can be provided either as hardcopy or image files. Please contact the designer for specifics for image files being sent by CD/email BEFORE sending any files. Hardcopy
